Position: KS2 Class Teacher - ECTs are welcome to apply
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independent thinking and a love for learning.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their individual development.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of teaching and learning.
Establish effective communication channels with parents/guardians, ensuring they are informed about their child's progress and involved in their education.
Foster a supportive and nurturing classroom environment, promoting positive behavior management strategies.
Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that enhance the overall educational experience of our students. and anything directed by the headteacher.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently enrolled in a recognised teacher training program as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
A thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to providing an inclusive education that meets the needs of all learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards professional development.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
