What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and inspiring teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team on a full-time basis from September 2026.   • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching within Primary Education.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Creates a positive learning environment and secures high standards of behaviour.
  • Delivers a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum, ensuring progression and continuity for all pupils.
  • Uses a range of effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Is organised, proactive and adaptable.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to raising standards and achieving the best possible outcomes for every child.

Launton CE Primary School is set in beautiful grounds in the village of Launton. We have seven classes including a nursery, in both modern and Victorian buildings. We have a rich and well-resourced curriculum and the children demonstrate a love of learning. Our families are supportive and we have a thriving PTA.
