Pay Range: Teachers Main Scale (M1-M6)
Actual Salary from: £10,285.60 - £14,784.40 - (40% FTE)

The Role
We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our experienced team of teachers at Alton Park Junior School.
- This post is 40% FTE (2 days per week) to cover maternity leave.
- This role is a Year 4 job share.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
- Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge.
- Plan and teach well-structured lessons.
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment.
- Fulfil wider professional responsibilities.
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.

We're looking for you if you have:
- Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
- Successful teaching experience within the primary sector.
- A thorough knowledge of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and how to use them effectively.
- Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment.
