Badocks Wood E-ACT Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our warm, vibrant primary community on a fixed-term maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and nurturing environment.
As part of our committed staff team, you will create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and support every child to thrive. Key responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress, provide feedback, and inform future planning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on progress, achievements and any concerns.
- Maintain strong behaviour management using school policies, routines and consistent expectations.
- Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, supported and motivated to succeed.
Pay range: MPS - UPS - £32,916.00 - £51,048.00
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Degree or equivalent qualification relevant to Primary Education.
- Ability to deliver high‑quality, engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Confident classroom management skills, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and progress.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
