  • Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position;
  • Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils;
  • Act within, the statutory frameworks, which set out their professional duties and responsibilities and in line with the duties outlined in the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and Teacher Standards (2012);
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

Darley Dene Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Year 2 Class teacher for maternity cover with the potential for it to become a permanent position. We have a strong reputation for working collaboratively with other local schools and are constantly on the look-out for opportunities to enhance our provision. The right candidate will be joining a strong, professional team of enthusiastic staff who will work alongside you in a supportive and constructive way.

Darley Dene has been “under new management” since Sept 2019 when it joined the Lumen Learning Multi-Academy Trust. The changes to the school have been transformational, and we are looking for like-minded, committed teachers who will help to continue the school’s development for our community. Darley Dene has recently been awarded a Good school by Ofsted.
