Start Date: 01.09.2026
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Teacher (Maternity cover) to join our friendly and supportive EYFS team at Burton End Primary Academy in September 2026.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS Statutory Framework and our Early Foundations Curriculum with the Unity Schools partnership, creating a stimulating environment which nurtures curious, confident learners to thrive and believe that anything is possible. We would welcome applications from ECTs as well as experienced teachers.
You will need to:-
• Build high quality relationships with pupils, staff and parents in a rich and engaging early years environment.
• Believe that children thrive through play and quality experiences to lay the foundations for lifelong learning
• Be an exceptional classroom practitioner, demonstrating a passion for teaching and learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Prioritise the development of children’s communication and language through high quality, meaningful interactions.
• Have high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Have a good understanding of, or a willingness to engage with, evidence-based approaches.
