We are very proud of our school and our stimulating learning environment. Our aim is to promote a love of learning by providing rich, rewarding experiences through a creative curriculum. Through celebrating efforts and achievements, we aim to develop pride in the success of our pupils so that they are ready to face future challenges. We are very lucky to have a growing multicultural community, allowing us to celebrate diversity and develop respect and tolerance.
As a school, we are constantly looking for ways to enrich our curriculum and through challenge and excitement we strive for all of our children to achieve their full potential – every child matters at Sitwell Junior School. Our pupils benefit from excellent teaching and an outstanding curriculum, where children are able to apply their skills and knowledge to new situations.
We have a very strong Learning Community and we work closely and effectively with Sitwell Infant School and in the Inspire Learning Trust, with Oakwood High School, Winterhill School and Thomas Rotherham College. This allows us to share skills and expertise. Our school governors also play a vital role in school and hold our school leadership to account. This, in turn, leads to better educational outcomes for our children. Our Chair of Governors is Mrs. Tracey Leeson.
Sitwell Junior School continues to be an exciting and creative school and I hope by visiting our website you get a flavour of all that we offer. We look forward to working with you over the coming years as we really do believe that the partnership between home and school is vital. These partnerships help us to capture our aim of working together to be the best. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.
