Class Teacher - Lower Key Stage 2 (Maternity Cover)

Contract: Full-time, Temporary Maternity Cover contract

We are looking recruit a Class Teacher for maternity cover. We are a large two form entry school; therefore, you will be working as part of a supportive year group team. You will be able to plan sequences of lessons which develop the children’s foundations in learning whilst offering them a range of experiences to bring our highly ambitious CUSP curriculum to life. You will have a friendly, approachable manner with high expectations for all our children and you will strongly believe in providing awe and wonderment to all our pupils. 

Wells Hall is set in the town of Sudbury Suffolk and is within easy reach of Colchester, Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds. We are dedicated to working with our families and the local community to ensure that every child has great educational and extended experiences every day. Our pupils are polite, hardworking and keen learners who particularly enjoy the enrichment aspect of our CUSP curriculum. Staff are a friendly and supportive team who have a good sense of humour and work closely together. This is an opportunity for an experienced teacher to further their development as part of a forward-thinking MAT to benefit from our supportive model for staff CPD and career development. It is important to belong at work and the work you do is relied upon by our pupils, so even small positive differences which are made, make people very happy. We want to ensure you have a good work life balance and one of the ways we achieve this is by having a two-week autumn half term.
