The Governors of Monks Coppenhall Academy seek to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic, and self-motivated class teacher from September 2024. This rare opportunity to join our successful school would be ideal for a recently qualified teacher who is looking to develop their skills. This is a temporary position for one academic year in the first instance. The position may be made permanent dependant on pupil numbers.
Monks Coppenhall Academy is a large three form entry primary academy with a 42 place nursery and a 7 place resource provision. Due to our size, we can be flexible in terms of year group on offer in either key stage one or key stage two. Moreover, we also have flexibility in which subject leadership team you could join. We therefore ask candidates to state their curriculum strengths, interests and areas of expertise.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and requires all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. References will be taken up for all shortlisted candidates prior to the interview. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Barring Service Check, along with other relevant employment checks.
