Class Teacher MPR / UPR job summary
The Oaks Primary is an inclusive 2-form entry school based in the Druids Heath area of Birmingham, with a dedicated, hard-working team of staff who strive towards all pupils achieving the highest educational outcomes, regardless of their circumstance or background.
We wish to appoint an experienced KS2 class teacher for Y5 in the first instance. This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers.

Candidates will:
- Have a thorough knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Be creative in their approach to teaching and learning
- Have knowledge and experience of teaching KS2
- Be skilled at building rapport and engaging with children
- Manage the classroom effectively using a restorative approach
- Inspire and motivate children to achieve their academic potential
- Be committed to collaborative learning and ongoing professional development
- Be supportive of the school’s approach to supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs
