What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a fantastic teacher who holds a good honours degree, Qualified Teacher status and who has experience of teaching within the primary range.
They should have knowledge and understanding of:
The theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children
Effective teaching
Statutory National Curriculum requirements for EYFS/KS1/KS2
The monitoring, assessment, recording and reporting of pupil progress
The statutory requirements of legislation concerning Child Protection, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and SEND
The positive links necessary within school with all stakeholders
The should have the following skills:
A willingness to support and participate in the general life of the school
Ability to organise and create a happy, attractive and engaging learning environment
Ability to engage constructively with and relate to parents, governors and the community
Ability to work effectively in a team
Effective communication skills (both orally and in writing) to a variety of audiences
A commitment to raising standards through planning exciting learning opportunities
