What skills and experience we're looking for
Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with Mullion Community Primary School, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed KS1/Lower KS2 Teacher on a 12-month fixed term contract. We are looking for the successful candidate to be able to take up the position in September 2026.
At Mullion we aim to instil a love of learning and develop a ‘can do' approach that enables our children to be ambitious and develop an understanding of themselves as individuals, with their own talents and characters, as well as value the people and world around them. We are looking for an inspiring, positive, highly motivated, and creative Class Teacher who can buy into our shared vision and values with drive and commitment, to professionally develop our friendly school.
From September 2026, Mullion Primary School will have 119 children on role, split into 4 classes in the following structure:
Class 1: Year R and 1
Class 2: Year 2 and 3
Class 3: Year 4 and 5
Class 4: Year 6
About You:
You will have the experience to deliver a creative, inclusive and challenging curriculum which inspires and motivates children and supports high quality teaching and learning both indoors and out. Experience of teaching KS1 and Lower KS2 is desirable. Individuals must embrace the opportunities of teaching within this already flourishing and happy school.
