We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our family of schools within the Trust. This role will begin with a placement at Bonnygate Primary School until August 2026, a two-form entry school with a nursery, located in the heart of South Ockendon.

This position is to cover maternity leave, and following the initial placement at Bonnygate Primary School, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue their career within another of our Trust schools. This position will involve:
- Supporting pupils, to ensure they are engaged in learning activities
- Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
- Acting as a role model, setting high expectations of conduct and promoting positive pupil behaviour, to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures about health & safety, welfare and wellbeing and safeguarding
- Establishing positive relationships with the pupils, parents and other staff in the school
The successful candidate will be:

- A great communicator with excellent organisational skills and a helpful and positive attitude
- Dedicated to good classroom management, and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Caring towards the welfare and achievement of every child
- Innovative and have a passion for improvement
- Able to multi-task and have excellent written skills
- Able to follow safeguarding procedures and prioritise students’ welfare
