The Directors of Our Lady of Compassion Catholic Primary School, part of Our Lady and All Saints MAC, are seeking to appoint a dynamic, innovative teacher to join our team. Our Lady of Compassion is a welcoming school where all staff work tirelessly and care hugely for our wonderful children. We are looking for someone who is professional, engaging and self-motivated, with a passion for education, who is eager to contribute to the spiritual and academic development of the children in our school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Show commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos of our school
  • Have a current knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner who will motivate and excite our children
  • Have high expectations of the children
  • Be able to inspire children to learn and demonstrate high quality teaching
  • Be skilled at using assessment to inform planning, setting challenging targets for pupils and be able to accurately track pupil progress
  • Be motivated and have good organisational skills.
  • Be able to plan and deliver imaginative, fun lessons which enable children to reach challenging targets
  • Be committed to working as part of a team, taking a full part in the life of our school
  • Be able to motivate others and create an effective learning environment
  • Be committed to working with parents and the community
