Pendeen School is looking for a passionate and creative Teacher to join our small, dedicated team.

About Us: "Together, we CAN!"

Pendeen School is a warm, caring, and vibrant village academy located in the heart of West Cornwall. As part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, we pride ourselves on being a "hidden gem" where every child is recognized as a unique individual with unlimited potential.

Our Facebook page is a window into our world—from "Great Outdoors" learning and community beach cleans to celebrating our "Stars of the Week." We are a school that breathes creativity, resilience, and kindness.

The Role

We are looking for a teacher who doesn't just "deliver a curriculum" but creates an adventure. You will be responsible for:

Inspiring Curiosity: Planning and teaching a broad, challenging, and personalized curriculum that makes learning stick.

Nurturing Wellbeing: Placing the safety and emotional happiness of our children above all else.

Community Connection: Building strong, positive relationships with our families and the wider Pendeen village.

Outdoor Learning: Embracing our "Love of the Great Outdoors" and using our unique coastal landscape as a classroom.

About You

We are looking for:

A forward-thinking practitioner with a "can-do" attitude.

Someone who thrives in a mixed-year class environment (we currently have 4 classes across the school).

A team player who is ready to "go the extra mile" for our 60+ wonderful pupils.

A lifelong learner committed to your own professional growth.

Why Pendeen?

Small Class Sizes: Enjoy the opportunity to truly know every child in your care.

A Supportive Family: Join a staff team that is skilled, nurturing, and incredibly welcoming.

Stunning Location: Work in a beautiful part of Cornwall with strong community links.

Trust Benefits: Access to high-quality CPD and career development through the Truro and Penwith Academy Trust.

If you have the skills, passion, determination, and flexibility to help our children "Smile, Strive and Shine," we would love to meet you!
