To carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the academy's policies under the direction of the Principal.
To be an effective professional who demonstrates thorough curriculum knowledge, can teach and assess effectively, take responsibility for professional development and has pupils who achieve well.

Who we are looking for
An inspirational teacher with excellent subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons which enthuse and motivate learners
Has a passion for raising attainment and expectations
Has high expectations and is committed to raising standards
Has an understanding of target setting with pupils
Is able to effectively use the environment to support learning and impact on standards
Uses ICT as a key tool for planning, teaching and learning
Has excellent interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills, verbal and written, both inside and outside the classroom
Is highly motivated, enthusiastic and supportive team player who is willing to learn and share ideas
Will support the school’s ethos and work effectively as part of our hardworking team
Has an understanding of supporting children on the SEN code of practice
Has good attendance and punctuality record
