Do you want to be part of a growing school serving a very special community?
We are recruiting a Reception class teacher within The Merchant Taylor’s Oxfordshire Academy Trust, formerly The Wallingford Schools Academy Trust, who will be at the forefront of continuing to deliver strong outcomes for the Brightwell cum Sotwell school community.
You will be an outstanding practitioner who understands the value of working hard with a view to making a terrific difference. We are not seeking a particular profile of applicant; we are looking for energy and a love of teaching. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further with potential applicants and would be delighted to show you around our school.
This is a part time role 0.4 - 0.5 FTE - Maternity cover only

Brightwell cum Sotwell C of E Primary School is the first school to join the Merchant Taylor’s Oxfordshire Academy Trust. Wallingford Schools is itself an oversubscribed, successful 11-18 school regularly amongst the most successful schools in the country for progress in English and Maths.
We are a small village school of just over 120 children serving a community of families that are aspirant and care about education. It is a school where strong teachers can take risks in lessons that children appreciate and make work.
