The Role

As a Class Teacher at Rednal Hill Junior School, you will:

• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all pupils can flourish.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge learners.
• Have high expectations for achievement, behaviour and personal development.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure every child achieves their full potential.
• Adapt teaching effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers to support children's learning and wellbeing.
• Promote excellent behaviour and a culture of respect throughout the school.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share outstanding practice.
• Contribute fully to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities, educational visits and community events.
• Uphold the safeguarding and welfare of all children at all times.
