What skills and experience we're looking for

The Grove Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and forward-thinking Resource Base Class Teacher. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

In this role you will plan and deliver high‑quality, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of pupils with a wide range of special educational needs, creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment that promotes progress, independence and positive behaviour. The role includes assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress, contributing to and leading Annual Reviews and EHCP processes where required. The teacher will work collaboratively with teaching assistants, mainstream colleagues, parents and external professionals to ensure coordinated support for pupils. Effective behaviour management strategies will be implemented consistently in line with school and Trust policies, while safeguarding, wellbeing, equality and inclusion remain central to all aspects of practice. The postholder will also contribute positively to whole‑school development, enrichment activities and the wider life and ethos of the school.
