Are you looking for a teaching role where you can truly know every child, tailor your teaching, and make a visible difference every day?
At Scole C of E Primary Academy, we offer something truly special: a vibrant, small-school environment where big ambitions flourish. Nestled in the heart of the community near Diss, our village academy of 43 pupils combines a warm, family ethos with a drive for excellence. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative Year 3/4 Class Teacher to join our close-knit team.
With a class size of just 11 children, this role offers a rare freedom from the pressures of oversized classrooms. Driven by our core values of Positivity, Courage, and Respect and you will play a key role in helping our children build independence, pride, and a lifelong love of learning.
As part of St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust and our close collaborative partnership with neighboring schools in Diss, you get the best of both worlds: the friendly, supportive charm of a small village school paired with outstanding professional development, shared resources, and trust-wide networking.
Why Teach at Scole?
- Exceptional Class Dynamics: Teach an eager Year 3/4 class of just 11 pupils, giving you the time to focus on high-impact, individual progress.
- A Community That Cares: Work alongside a supportive team of staff, governors, and parents who actively collaborate to help every child flourish.
- Professional Growth: Enjoy comprehensive CPD, leadership development, and cross-school collaboration as part of the Diss and Scole Partnership as well as networking across St Benet’s MAT.
What We Are Looking For:
- An inspiring, approachable teacher (ECTs or experienced teachers welcome) with a passion for Key Stage 2 education.
- An educator who embodies our values of positivity, courage, and respect, bringing energy and warmth to the classroom.
- Someone who thrives in a small school setting and values strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please contact the school office to book an appointment 01379 642675 diss@dissandscole.stbenets.org
