Class Teacher job summary
We are looking for committed teachers with a flexible approach, a talent for thinking outside the box and an absolute passion for ensuring the best outcomes for all to join our team our school.
You will be working with learners age from 4-19 with complex/severe learning difficulties.
Experience of working with a range of needs and supporting behaviour management is desirable, however experience of working in a special school is not essential as a structured programme of support and development will be provided.
The successful candidate will manage a team of Teaching Assistances and take responsibility for a subject area of the curriculum.

Selworthy School is a special school for learners age from 4 - 19 with complex/severe learning difficulties.
There are two campus' both situated on the north side of Taunton. Oakhill campus is for our primary aged learners, and our secondary and 6th form learners are based at Hazelbrook Campus.
