What skills and experience we're looking for

The role:

You'll lead a group of 8-10 children with a high adult-child ratio.

You'll plan creative, personalised learning experiences that engage children who may be reluctant or disaffected.

You'll work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including therapists, learning mentors and parents.

You'll model calm, consistent attuned interactions - especially when children are dysregulated.

You'll receive regular clinical supervision, CPD and coaching to support your own development.

We're looking for someone who:

Is qualified and ideally has experience in primary, SEN or SEMH settings.

Has emotional resilience, self-awareness and a sense of humour.

Believes in unconditional positive regard and knows that challenging behaviour is communication.

Thrives in a collaborative, reflective team culture.

Wants to make a difference to children who need it most.

What the school offers its staff

We offer:

A genuinely trauma-informed environment for staff as well as children and are always working to make sure this is the case.

A highly supportive leadership team who understand the emotional demands of the work.

Excellent opportunities for training including autism, mental health, and a nervous system informed approach to behaviour.

The chance to be part of something transformational - for children, families and education as a whole.

We don't make excuses - we make meaning. We don't lower the bar - we change the approach.

Flexible working opportunities

Leaders work flexibly with staff to try to provide what they need to secure a life balance that suits them. We are family-friendly and will, whenever possible support events that a staff member needs to attend around their children's schooling.
