We are looking to appoint a teacher who is ambitious, able to inspire our pupils and ultimately have the best interest of pupils and learning at heart. This is a fixed term position until 31st August 2026.

Kingsway Junior School is committed to safeguarding children and young people and therefore the successful applicant will be subject to suitable references, medical and DBS checks in accordance with Herts County Council guidelines. We are an organisation that takes safer recruitment seriously and rigorous checks will be made as part of the process relating to any appointments to the school. The Governing Board reserve the right to take up references and conduct interviews before the closing date. Kingsway Junior school is a 2 form entry school on a large, well resourced site. This is an exciting time to join the friendly team at Kingsway, we have worked together as a team to develop every area of the school and Ofsted has recognised this by rating us as good! The school has great facilities including its own swimming pool!

Kingsway has a very enthusiastic and supportive parent community and benefits from the support of governors who are fully involved in the daily life of the school. Parents and pupils form good relationships with the staff team. In regular surveys staff, parents and pupils rate the school highly. The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children in its care and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We follow safer recruitment practice and appointments are subject to satisfactory DBS certification and references.
