What skills and experience we're looking for

Tannery Drift First School is a well regarded school in Royston, North Hertfordshire, and is currently seeking a class teacher who:

  • is, or has the potential to become, an excellent class teacher
  • will apply creative thinking and inspire learners
  • will work collaboratively with a year group partner to deliver our ambitious curriculum
  • is an enthusiastic and well-organised teacher with high expectations of themselves and our children

What the school offers its staff

Would you like to work as part of our friendly team, dedicated to providing all pupils with a first class education? We can provide excellent continuing professional development. The school is a 2FE and currently has 326 children, ages 3-9 years. This is a full-time position which would suit an ECT or more experienced teacher.

Whilst this is a fixed term contract we would very much hope this would become a permanent contract within 12 months.

If you would like to have an informal conversation orknow more about the position, please contact Mrs Anna Greetham by emailing head@tannerydrift.herts.sch.uk.
