What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Teach in either Key Stage One or Key Stage Two, depending on your experience and expertise
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the school’s curriculum and schemes of work
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Manage behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
  • Contribute to whole-school policies, curriculum development, and school improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective teaching
  • Participate in professional development and appraisal processes
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies to promote pupil wellbeing

About You

You will be a qualified and enthusiastic teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
  • Has experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably across multiple key stages
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies
  • Is committed to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is resilient, adaptable, and keen to contribute to the school’s vision and values
  • Understands the needs of pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils, and those with EAL
  • Has a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
