What skills and experience we're looking for
- Teach in either Key Stage One or Key Stage Two, depending on your experience and expertise
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the school’s curriculum and schemes of work
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Manage behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Contribute to whole-school policies, curriculum development, and school improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective teaching
- Participate in professional development and appraisal processes
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies to promote pupil wellbeing
About You
You will be a qualified and enthusiastic teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
- Has experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably across multiple key stages
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies
- Is committed to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is resilient, adaptable, and keen to contribute to the school’s vision and values
- Understands the needs of pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils, and those with EAL
- Has a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
