We are seeking an inspirational class teacher for Key stage 2, we also welcome applications from ECTs, with high expectations for learning to join our growing team; inspiring children and promoting excellence.

South Rise Primary School is a three-form entry school, judged by OFSTED agreed remained good at our last inspection in January 2020.

We are a research-engaged community and are constantly seeking new and innovative ways of developing teaching for learning. Our ethos is one of mutual respect and positive values for life-long learning. We are part of The Compass Partnership MAT; an innovative and forward-thinking group of 14 schools with anew Free School opening in academic year 2025-2026. Here at South Rise our teaching is based on the principles of direct instruction. We have high expectations for all children, and so need a teacher who has a 'everyone can achieve' mindset. Candidates would need a secure understanding of assessment for learning and be skilled at responding to 'live' and summative feedback from the children to ensure they are meeting their full potential. The Partnership offers immense opportunities to develop the quality of provision, sharing of good practice and for profession growth.
