Spring Common Academy is an oversubscribed 3-19 years special school in Huntingdon. We are seeking an outstanding teacher to join the team. This is an exciting post as class teacher as part of our vibrant school community.
All pupils have special needs and disabilities and enjoy their learning and would like a teacher to actively lead them to achieve success. The school has excellent facilities and the support of experienced and friendly teaching assistants who work as a class team.
Experience of Special Needs is desirable. This post is suitable for teachers who would like to develop special school experience in their career. Candidates transferring from mainstream and ECTs are warmly welcome.
All appointments are subject to satisfactory references and checks, (including an enhanced children and adults DBS check, On-line search in line with KCSIE ’24, Barred List Check 99, Prohibition from Teaching (128 check) and health checks). We offer an Induction programme and have a genuine ongoing commitment of staff professional development.
