What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher with Qualified Teacher Status and a strong academic background, who is keen to develop into an outstanding practitioner.

The successful candidate will have recent and relevant teaching experience, excellent subject and curriculum knowledge and a clear understanding of how pupils learn, including effective approaches to assessment, behaviour management and inclusive practice for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

They will be passionate about education and driven by a genuine desire to make a positive difference to young people’s lives.

A strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion is essential, along with alignment to the Trust’s values and the principles of public life.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate humility, emotional intelligence, professionalism and the ability to work collaboratively, while modelling high standards and maintaining a healthy work–life balance.

Flexibility to contribute to the wider life of the school and support occasional out‑of‑hours activities is also important.
