Essential educational requirements
Qualified Teacher Status.
Essential skills and experience
Clear knowledge and understanding of the KS1 & KS2 curriculum, assessment and tracking progress.
Knowledge of how children learn and behaviour management strategies.
Up to date knowledge in relation to safeguarding and welfare of pupils.
Ability to plan and teach effective lessons to meet the needs of individual pupils.
Ability to develop a purposeful, stimulating learning environment
Ability to work with colleagues in identifying individual pupils needs and implement effective interventions.
Ability to demonstrate good communication skills, written and verbal in relation to all stakeholders.
Ability to maintain pastoral and academic records and communicate effectively with parents/carers, encouraging them to be partners in their child’s learning.
