Class Teacher job summary

The Avenue Primary School and Children’s Centre is looking for a dedicated Class Teacher to join its vibrant team on a permanent basis, with effect from September 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher who is passionate about the success of every child and helping them be the best they can be.

We are a vibrant co-educational, non-denominational primary school, educating children between the ages of 3 and 11. Located in the charming garrison town of Warminster, Wiltshire, our staff are dedicated to creating a safe and exciting place for children to thrive and learn. Our school values of respect, kindness and honesty are central to everything we do and are at the heart of a strong sense of belonging for all in our school community. We take the success of every child very personally and offer a wide range of opportunities to help them develop as confident individuals.   • Has good knowledge and awareness of current initiatives in the Primary curriculum;

  • Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
  • Has a desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
