What skills and experience we're looking for
The Beeches Primary School, Peterborough, are looking to appoint an Early Years or KS1 full-time class teacher to join our vibrant inner-city school.
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
We are seeking to appoint a teacher who can:
• Inspire and motivate children to engage with their learning
• Involve children as active learners
• Promote independent thinking and reasoning
• Teach in creative and challenging ways
• Unlock and develop the potential within every child
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
A teacher who:
- Has recent experience of, or a passion for, teaching our youngest children.
- Has excellent knowledge of phonics and early reading.
- Has knowledge and understanding of improving children’s language development.
You will be:
• An excellent teacher, passionate about teaching and learning, with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
• Somebody who builds positive relationships with children, their families, staff, governors and the wider community.
• A teacher who wants to work as part of a team and shape practice
• A teacher committed to ongoing professional development-a lifelong learner
• Aspirational, both for yourself and the children you teach
- Be passionate about, and willing to take part in, enrichment activities to improve children’s personal development
