We are a three form entry infant school with 270 children. Our Steering Group (the Leadership team) comprises of the Headteacher, Deputy, School Business Manager and two TLRs.
At the Oaktree School we believe that every child is unique, with unique gifts and abilities. Our role is not merely to promote the individual learning of the child but also to draw out all his/her unique gifts and to see that each child is valued for his or her particular contribution.
Everyone at the school strives to be ‘the best they can be’ whether that be children or staff. Teachers sign up to a culture of change and innovation and are prepared to take risks. The school uses a coaching model for raising performance, and consequently staff are engaged in a continuous dialogue about learning.
