About The Role:
Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with the Local Monitoring Committee Board of Trewirgie Infants’ School are seeking to appoint a main scale teacher for a year 1 class.
Are you a passionate educator who believes in nurturing young minds through creativity, care, and curiosity? We are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our warm and supportive team on a fixed-term basis.
This vital role requires an individual with a genuinely calm demeanour to maintain a settled and productive classroom environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to positive engagement, including maintaining a supportive atmosphere where children feel encouraged and valued. Crucially, the school is looking for someone who is adaptable and flexible to respond effectively to the diverse needs of the class, ensuring they can actively help pupils of all abilities to thrive and achieve their potential.

- A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience and enthusiasm for teaching Key Stage 1.
