We are delighted to invite applications for the position of class teacher with responsibility for mathematics to join our outstanding team of professionals.
About the Role
As an experienced class teacher at Whipman Woods, you will provide high-quality, supportive, and engaging teaching to our pupils as well as sharing your own excellent practice with others. You will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our children, creating a stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can, and does, thrive. This role will involve close collaboration with a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated team of colleagues who are all committed to making a positive impact - ensuring that every child can reach their full potential.
In addition, as the school’s Mathematics Subject Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the teaching and learning of mathematics across the school. These responsibilities will include oversight of a rich and engaging curriculum, supporting colleagues with planning and delivery, monitoring pupil progress and attainment, and driving school-wide improvement through effective use of data and targeted support. You will also lead staff training, keep up to date with national developments, and ensure the subject remains inclusive, challenging, and enjoyable for all learners.
