Teaching and Learning Responsibility Allowance: £3,391 for the role of SENCo

Start date: 1st January, 2026 or sooner.

Perry Beeches Nursery School, federated with Marsh Hill Nursery School are seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher with SENDCo responsibility to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners. Our welcoming and vibrant primary school is seeking an enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture our pupils, fostering a love of learning in a supportive environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Teaching a class, including planning, recording, assessing and meeting the social and learning needs of pupils
  • Maintaining a positive ethos and core values of the school
  • Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Governor for SEND to determine the strategic development of the SEND policy and provision in the school.
  • Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability
