What skills and experience we're looking for

Penbridge School is seeking to appoint an inspirational Year Leader and Class Teacher with to join our friendly and supportive team from September 2024.

The successful candidate will be an experience educator with a proven track record of leadership and innovation to lead a specific year group. As the Year Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum, fostering collaborative working, and ensuring excellence in teaching and learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding teacher who is looking to take the next step in their professional journey or for an established Year Lead ready for a new challenge. With this role, there is also the prospect of becoming the subject lead for Maths across Penbridge schools with a TLR to reflect this added responsibility.What you will need to succeed:

What the school offers its staff

Formally known as Penhale Infant School and Newbridge Junior School, we officially joined together in September 2022 to form Penbridge Infants and Junior School.The infants site comprises of a nursery with 24 places for funded 2-4 year olds and a 2-form entry Infant school with 180 children on the roll including 24 in our Rainbow Fish Inclusion Unit.The Juniors site comprises of a 4-form entry school with 440 children on the roll.
