Full-time Class Teachers - Permanent & Temporary (for 1 year) roles available
Archbishop Benson School is a popular and successful school (standalone academy trust) situated at the heart of Truro. The Governors are seeking to appoint 3 full time class teachers from September 2025. Applications from candidates with KS1 or KS2 teaching experience would be most welcome. Having a specialism in Writing, Music, Computing or Languages would be an advantage.
We are seeking to appoint teachers who:
- are willing to be proactive in contributing to our ethos as a vibrant Church of England school
- are highly motivated and enthusiastic classroom practitioners with strong class management skills
- have excellent subject knowledge and can deliver and model the curriculum creatively & cross-curricularly
- maintain a dynamic and inspiring learning environment
- are able to create and deliver well-differentiated lessons for all pupils
- are able to motivate and challenge young learners, securing good outcomes
- are team members with good communication and interpersonal skills
- have a commitment to forming excellent relationships with parents/carers
- are fully committed to the principles of inclusion and can demonstrate good practice of this
- can offer areas of expertise that can further enhance the school
