What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an experienced teacher to join our Lower School Team, teaching in Year 1. Knowledge of the Year One curriculum is essential. It would be beneficial for applicants to have knowledge and/or experience of EYFS end points and strategies to support all pupils in making exceptional progress, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).
- We are looking for an experienced Teacher to undertake this position and we are therefore unable to accept applications from ECTs.
- A Teacher who will demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting the ethos of the school, who will be approachable and visible around the school to children, staff, parents and carers.
- An individual who will motivate, inspire and develop children whilst also ensuring their wellbeing is valued and promoted as a core value.
- A Teacher whose motivation is children and helping them achieve to the best of their abilities and who understands individual children’s needs and the wide range of experiences and factors that can impact on their well-being and achievement.
