Class Teacher - Year 3 job summary
At Judith Kerr Primary School, our vision is for every child to leave us as a confident, responsible global citizen, well prepared for the future through our bilingual education.
As a unique English-German bilingual primary school, we believe that learning another language opens minds, broadens horizons and helps children understand their place in the world. Our warm, inclusive and creative community celebrates diversity, nurtures individuality and encourages every child to flourish.
We are looking for an ambitious, inspiring and caring class teacher to join our teaching team in January 2027.
Joining an established class partway through the academic year, you will play an important role in providing continuity, building positive relationships and ensuring every child continues to thrive. We want someone who combines excellent teaching and high expectations with genuine warmth, creativity and a commitment to inclusion.
We're looking for someone who:
- Delivers excellent, ambitious teaching that inspires curiosity, independence and a love of learning.
- Believes that every child, regardless of their background or additional needs, deserves to achieve their very best.
- Creates a nurturing, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, valued and challenged.
- Embraces our bilingual ethos, celebrating language, culture and the importance of developing global citizens.
- Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Is reflective, collaborative and committed to continually improving their practice and contributing to school improvement.
You don't need to speak German, but you do need to believe in the power of bilingual education and be excited about bringing our vision to life.
Why join Judith Kerr?
You'll be joining a school with a truly distinctive identity, a wonderful community and an exciting future. We are proud of what makes Judith Kerr special, while remaining ambitious about what we can achieve together.
As part of Anthem Schools Trust, you will have opportunities to collaborate, develop professionally and contribute to a wider network of schools committed to improving outcomes for children.
We are looking for someone who will bring warmth, energy and expertise to our team, embrace our school culture and help us ensure that every child receives the exceptional education they deserve.
If you're passionate about great teaching, believe in the potential of every child and want to help shape the next chapter of our bilingual school, we'd love to hear from you.
Bilingual English/German applicants are very much encouraged to apply.
