What skills and experience we're looking for

Either:

  • A successful placement(s) teaching (applicants currently in training).

or:

  • Successful record of teaching including very good exam results (applicants who already have gained QTS).
  • A detailed knowledge of current developments in education including the use of the Pupil Premium.
  • The ability to put vision into practice.
  • To take a leading role in further developing our pedagogy through continuously evaluating and, where necessary, challenging our current approach to teaching and learning.
  • To lead an assigned year group to achieve high quality teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all pupils.
  • To take an active and positive role in the development of the curriculum within the year group.
