What the school offers its staff
At Thorpe, our vision is that we create happy, healthy, safe and successful learners who will make a positive contribution to society. We have three key values that we live by: Respectful, Responsible and Aspirational. We want all of our children to uphold these key values so they can be their best selves and make the best possible progress.
We work closely together to support all of our children to ensure they meet their potential. Our children are funny, kind, polite and respectful and we have a skilled and friendly team who care deeply about our school community and all of our pupils. Relationships with our parents and carers are strong and we are always seeking to improve.
Our staff turnover is low, but this year, we have the exciting opportunity to recruit new teachers to join our fantastic team. Opportunities have arisen due to a pregnancy and staff relocating. We are looking for determined individuals who truly want to make a difference to our children and we are committed to appointing someone who fits our vision and values. Honesty, integrity and the desire to be the best you can are qualities that we are looking for.
We warmly encourage visits to our school so we can show you around our lovely environment and give you an opportunity to meet our team and children. Please contact us to arrange your visit; phone 0113 5217040 or email our business manager Sam Weston (sam.weston@thorpe.leeds.sch.uk).
Thorpe Primary School is part of the Leeds Authority and part of the Rothwell cluster.
