  • Be confident to work independently under the directions provided by teachers, health specialists and the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Have experience of and working knowledge of safeguarding children in an education setting.
  • Have additional qualifications to support their effective practice, such as Paediatric First Aid, or other similar professional development relevant to working with children of this age and stage of development.

  • Have a strong team spirt and the flexibility to work under direction from their class teacher but also know when and how to use their initiative to best effect for the children.

We can offer you:

We value our school and positive working environment that upholds the principles and values of our Christian foundation firmly at the centre of all we do. You will be welcomed into a friendly, supportive team who work closely together, and you will be involved in providing inspiration to EYFS pupils through the development of exciting and engaging activities in all areas of learning.

  • A happy and caring setting where all staff are supported to develop in their profession
  • Support and positive working relationships with key staff so that you can fulfil your duties and responsibilities in this EYFS specific role.
  • Well behaved and enthusiastic children who love to learn
  • A strong team who support all staff to achieve excellence in their individual roles
  • A motivated school community that is proud of all that we achieve together
  • A well-resourced school that embraces challenge
