Classroom Support Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Classroom Support Assistant to join the school and work as part of a class team providing 1-1 support for pupils, helping to develop independence and communication interaction. Candidates should be suitably qualified and have experience of working with pupils who have ADHD/SEMH/Complex Needs. The successful candidates must be highly committed and show initiative.  


We are a growing school and our numbers on roll continues to grow with 285 pupils on roll, including a Nursery. In the most recent Ofsted report (November 2024), the school was judged to of maintained our existing grading of being a ‘Good’ school.


You will be given full support in your career development as we believe that development of staff is a key aspect in raising standards for our students. You will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to world-class CPD both in school, from the Wade Deacon Trust and access external CPD such as NPQs.
