We are recruiting Classroom Support Assistants at Rainhill high School.
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will have a crucial role as part of a team who make our school a safe and happy place for every single one of our pupils.

These contracts are on a rolling temporary basis subject to continued annual SEND funding.
Knowledge and Experience
Experience of working with young people of all ages
Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 2 standard
Commitment to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people
Experience of working in a school or other learning environment
Experience of Administrative work
Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
Experience of working with confidential information
Good standard of education- Minimum of GCSE or equivalent grade C in English and Maths
NVQ level 2 or above qualification –appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Willingness to undertake first aid training
Skills and Abilities
Ability to supervise and assist pupils
Good communication skills at all levels
Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
Ability to work independently to organise own workload
Ability to make effective use of ICT systems
Good team player
Flexible approach
Good Behaviour Management

Rainhill High School is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form centre located in Rainhill, Merseyside, England.
The school converted to an academy under Rainhill Learning Village in March 2017. More recently, the school has become part of the Stephenson Trust.
