Classroom Support Staff

This is a fixed term contract for one year, from 1st September 2026.

32.92 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.35pm (37 weeks per year)

At The Horsell Village School we are passionate about developing children as learners and are looking for a kind, nurturing, enthusiastic and creative Classroom Support Staff to support our team in delivering high-quality learning at The Horsell Village School.

The advertised post offers a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to work as part of an experienced team. We are keen to appoint a new member to our team who will share our high expectations and have a real thirst for learning and success. There is a real desire and commitment from all to make the school even better. You will need to have excellent communication skills, be committed and flexible and be a team player.

The role will involve:

  • Assisting the class teacher in creating and developing the very best teaching and learning opportunities in line with school policies.
  • Assisting the class teacher in creating a secure and safe learning environment for every child.
  • To work with children who have specific SEND needs

Salary:

SWAN Grade 3 - FTE £25,133 actual is £18,754.05
