We are a Catholic Academy, in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle and a member of the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust.
The current school building moved to a new site in 1986 and our open plan building has spaces for 210 pupils (Reception to Year 6).
There has been a St. Augustine’s School in Darlington since 1876 and we are proud to continue the work of our parish school, where gospel values underpin all aspects of school life.
We have an excellent and dedicated staff team; highly skilled, compassionate and hard working. The Governors are very involved in the life of the school. Our parents and carers are supported and welcomed into all aspects of school life. We work in the spirit of Christian gospel values, in a calm, happy, purposeful atmosphere.
