What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit a Class Teacher on a Full-Time basis, from Summer Term 2025. This position is suitable for a teacher on the main or upper pay scale range. The vacancy is best suited to a practitioner keen to work in either the Foundation Stage or Key Stage One and we strongly advise that you visit John Clifford School to see which of these phases of learning best suits the skill set that you can offer.

We are looking to recruit a Key Stage Two Teacher on a Full Time Permanent basis. This position is suitable for an ECT. If successfully appointed, you will be supported by a full package of induction and coaching offered by experienced staff.
The Key Stage Two Team is led and managed by a Phase Leader for LKS2 and a Phase Leader for UKS2. Both are supported by Senior Leaders in school. This is a two-form entry school and so there are up to 60 children in each year group. The Key Stage Two classes are located in the Junior side of John Clifford School with Years 4, 5 and 6 being upstairs in the two-storey aspect of our building.
Staff plan together and PPA is set and supported by the team at John Clifford School. There is a close relationship between Key Stage Two and the key stages above and below and staff work together to ensure that information is shared that best supports development. The curriculum has been well developed and builds upon the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, with a strong emphasis on the acquisition of vocabulary and enhanced, knowledge, skills and understanding in all subjects.
