Hamilton School is a SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Special School in Reading educating up to 96 students with Education, Health Care Plans (EHCP).Our mission is to recognise each and every one of our students as individuals, and to nurture their potential, developing the whole child through a therapeutic approach.

The school now proudly boasts a new building, giving our students the opportunity to play sport in either the purpose built sports hall, or the outdoor multi-use games area. They have access to brand new science, art, design & technology, food technology

The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach any of our core subjects to children with social, emotional and mental health needs, and will also have the opportunity to teach other complimentary subjects and topic areas. You will demonstrate a passion for teaching through the delivery of high quality and creative lessons and a strong commitment to improving the life chances of children with SEND.
