Key Stage 2 Class Teacher required from January 2022 on a maternity contract.

Sawtry Junior Academy is looking for an innovative and excellent practitioner to join our friendly and motivated team. We are a forward thinking Junior Academy who part of the Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust (CMAT) family of schools. Come and share with us what you have to offer.
We have approximately 260 pupils, aged 7 to 11 years, organised into 10 single age classes. The majority of our pupils come from the village of Sawtry; the remainder are from surrounding villages. We aim to provide engaging learning activities for our children in a stimulating and challenging environment. Although our purpose is to promote the development of academic and practical skills, we also seek to guide children in their social and moral development. Between the ages of 7 and 11 children quickly grow and develop in maturity. The environment we provide for our children promotes independence, self-motivation and confidence.
