Classroom Teacher job summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team of our small village primary school. We are seeking a
teacher for our EYFS and KS1 class. One of the most rewarding things about working in a very small
school is that teachers can gain experience in all year groups. The right candidate will have the energy,
commitment and enthusiasm to be a great teacher for our children. Passion and knowledge of the best
practice in EYFS is particularly important. We aspire to be the happiest school in the UK, and are looking
for someone who can help us to achieve this.
We believe that our children should have a caring, nurturing environment in which to learn and grow. We
know them all as individuals and everyone involved in the school is committed to achieving success for
them. We work collaboratively across our federation and multi academy trust to ensure that we have a
great offer for both children and adults.
We can offer:
A small, but highly supportive and effective team
Great children who are kind and eager to learn
Strong relationships with our parents, local community and federation
We are looking for:
A talented individual who can work alongside colleagues to inspire young minds, getting the very
best out of our children
Someone who has a real passion for teaching and learning; who has energy, drive, enthusiasm
and creativity
A commitment to equality and inclusion so that all pupils thrive
A work ethic that is bound by energy, loyalty, passion and integrity
If you want to make a difference and are committed to improving life chances for children, we would love to meet you and show you around our school. We are proud to be a member of the YLT.
